History will come alive on Thursday night when new association, The Friends of the Court House, is launched in Traralgon.
A spokesperson for the group, Jenny Hammett, said the launch would be a fun evening for the community that planned to showcase the possibilities of the iconic building.
“The court house is a building with great atmosphere and fabulous potential,” Ms Hammett said.
“We are very excited that Latrobe City Council is currently working on a funding application to assist with the restoration work of the building.
“We want the community to experience the great space that it is and think about how it can be enjoyed and used for private and public events.
“There will be great food, great music and a few surprises and we would love the community to come along and join the fun.”
