Round two in the Latrobe Valley Hockey Association provided three close games and two dominant performances.
The first match in the under-17’s was a tight encounter between Churchill and Traralgon East Gippsland.
Churchill scored early in the second half before Traralgon fired but were unable to convert.
In the second under-17’s game the Sale Sharks put in another commanding performance and look the team to beat this season after they disposed of Rovers Lightning, 6-2.
The under-13’s enjoyed a great first round hit out with a 1-0 victory to Churchill.
In seniors’ the Rovers derby was a treat for spectators.
Storm came away with the win after Venus Brammal scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
In game two Traralgon flexed their muscle and got the win over an up-and-coming Churchill team, 8-0.
