Cowwarr will look to secure third spot and a double chance come finals when they come up against seventh-placed Yarram this weekend.
The Saints travelled to Churchill in round 17 and were no match for the Cougars, going down by 19 goals, while Woodside fell to Yarram by 13 goals.
It was a tight tussle when the sides last met in round nine and Cowwarr made the trip to Yarram a successful one and returned home with a four-goal win.
Woodside v Gormandale
Finals are off the cards for Woodside and Gormandale but one of the sides will end their season on a high with a win in the final round this weekend.
Woodside made the trip to Yarram at the weekend and were outdone by the Demons, 54-41, while Gormandale suffered an agonising one-goal loss to Sale City.
The Wildcats were the better side on the day when they last met in round nine and came away with a 53-42 win.
Sale City v Rosedale
Ladder leaders Rosedale remain undefeated heading into the final game of the home and away season and can make it through with a clean sheet if they notch a win over fourth-placed Sale City this weekend.
The Blues juggernaut rolled on at the weekend and they accounted for Glengarry with relative ease to record their 16th win of the season, 54-50.
Sale City secured a clutch one-goal win in their round 17 fixture with Gormandale.
The Blues were far too strong on their home court in round nine and recorded a huge 61-32 win.
Glengarry v Heyfield
Heyfield are a chance to snag the last finals spot if they can win over Glengarry this weekend – provided TTU lose to Churchill.
Glengarry faced the toughest ask in the competition when they travelled to take on ladder leaders Rosedale in round 17 – losing out by 14 goals at the final whistle.
Heyfield hosted TTU successfully in their round 17 match-up and took the premiership points, 43-36.
The Roos hosted Glengarry in round nine and made off with a 13-goal win but the Magpies have the home ground advantage this time around.
TTU V Churchill
Traralgon Tyers United are one of three teams vying for the fifth and final spot in the post-season and must win against Churchill this weekend to make it.
The Bombers went down to Heyfield by seven goals in round 17 while Churchill recorded a commanding 19-goal win over Cowwarr.
The Cougars were relentless in their treatment of TTU in round nine and piled on 61 goals to emerge big winners, 61-37.
