Police have charged a man following an incident in Moe on Saturday.
Police allege a small grey Toyota sedan pulled into a parking bay on Lloyd Street about 1.50pm when a man got out of the car and started pouring petrol on the roof.
The female driver of the car drove off with the two children and the man allegedly fled from the area.
The female and children weren’t physically injured.
Police believe the man and woman are known to each other.
A 22-year-old Newborough man was arrested on Saturday night after he attended a police station.
Among the six charges laid by police are recklessly cause serious injury and common law assault.
He will face the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
