Junior cricket season heats up

CRICKET
JUNIOR cricket finals have commenced in the Traralgon District Cricket Association.
A few teams have already made junior grand finals, with combatants of the Under-15 decider pencilled in.
It will be an Ex Students derby on Sunday at Catterick Crescent, with the scorebook to read Ex Students versus Ex Students Bull Sharks.
TDCA Under-12 semi-finals were played on Monday night and saw Ex Students Hammerheads play Glengarry and Gormandale go up against Ex Students Great Whites.
Results were not known when The Express went to press.
The Under-12 decider will be played on Monday, February 28 at Jack Maskrey Oval, Traralgon West.
In the Latrobe Valley and District Cricket League, two rounds remain in the regular season for the Under-16, Under-14 and Under-12 age groups.
Finals begin on Sunday, March 6.
