Car flips on Strzelecki Hwy

A twelve year old boy was air lifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital with suspected internal injuries this morning, after the car he was riding in flipped on the Strzelecki Highway.

An eight year girl was also transported to Latrobe Regional Hospital as a precaution, after the south bound car crashed between Thorpdale and Creamery Roads at 6:15am this morning.

According to Leading Senior Constable Shane James, who attended the scene,  the Leongatha family’s vehicle flipped after a tyre burst when it struck a pot hole while manoeuvring a bend in the road.
