Gippsland roads earmarked for major upgrades

ROADS in Traralgon and Hazelwood will be upgraded as part of a $20 million State Government investment into Gippsland roads.

Brodribb Road at Hazelwood and Traralgon-Maffra Road between Traralgon and Cowwarr will be improved as part of the funding.

Rehabilitation works will also take place on the Princes Highway.

Roads Minister Luke Donnellan said the works would enable improvements to key arterial roads to support freight vehicles and tourist traffic throughout Gippsland.

“Improving the condition of key regional roads will benefit the thousands of motorists who travel on them everyday,” Mr Donnellan said.
