Police are calling for witnesses to a motorcycle crash which injured two Morwell men at the weekend.
According to police, a rider with a pillion passenger were observed riding at high speed along the Traralgon West Road about 1.30am on Saturday.
A few minutes later, witnesses came across the motorcycle which had crashed. A 43 year-old man was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries, which were later downgraded to non-life-threatening, while a 21 year-old man sustained minor injuries.
The Major Collision Investigation Unit attended later in the morning.

Car impounded
A 21 year-old man from Wallan was clocked at 154 kilometres an hour coming east off the Princes Freeway in the 80km/h zone near Latrobe Regional Hospital. He was nabbed by police on Friday morning as part of Operation RAID and his car was impounded immediately.
Capsicum spray save
POLICE used capsicum spray to prevent a fight from breaking out in the early hours of Sunday morning outside Traralgon’s Saloon Bar.
A 22 year-old man from Trafalgar and a 23 year-old man from Paynesville were allegedly about to engage in violent activity with someone else about 3.20am when police intervened.
They allegedly resisted police and were subdued using capsicum spray.
The men were charged with resisting police and other offences.
Brawl in Traralgon
A brawl broke out at Traralgon’s Saloon Bar in the early hours of Saturday morning after security guards attempted to eject a man from the venue.
According to police, associates of the man protested and intervened, with the dispute erupting into a brawl between seven patrons and six security guards. The patrons were in their 20s and 30s and most were from Rosedale. The parties sustained minor injuries.
