Devries trial adjourned

THE Supreme Court trial of a Newborough man accused of murdering two other men was adjourned on Thursday following a legal argument.

At time of publication, it was unclear when the trial would resume.

The case of 38 year-old Richard Stephen Devries is being heard in the Latrobe Valley Court Complex in Morwell, and officially began last Wednesday.

Devries is pleading not guilty to two counts of murder in Moe last year.

Supreme Court judge Justice Lex Lasry is presiding over the case.
