Latrobe Valley schools will close their doors tomorrow as teachers prepare for their biggest statewide strike to date, with many more yet to confirm whether they will stay open.
At this stage, 14 Valley schools have notified the Australian Education Union of their intention to close for the day.
The schools closing are Boolarra, Churchill, Glengarry, Mirboo North, Elizabeth Street, Crinigan Road, Morwell, Tobruk Street, Kosciuszko Street, Traralgon South, Tyers, Yinnar and Yinnar South primary schools.
Trafalgar High School has also notified the AEU of its intention to close for the day.
