Latrobe Valley police have appealed for Hazelwood North residents to report any suspicious car activity believed to have taken place on 28 or 29 October, after two shotguns were stolen from an unattended property.
According to the Crime Investigation Unit, shed machinery, tools, fishing gear, and a welder were also stolen from the Holding Street property while the occupants were away on holiday.
Police said the offenders also forced entry into the house and stole the weapons from a safe.
