Morwell home ransacked

A Morwell home was targeted twice in three days last week, with about $20,000 worth of goods stolen.

According to police an offender broke into the garage of the Heritage Boulevard home on the night of Wednesday, 11 September and stole an MP3 player from a car.

On Saturday night the home was ransacked and a car stolen, which has since been recovered.

Firearm threat

A 19 year-old Traralgon man has been remanded in custody after allegedly threatening the occupants of a Morwell home with a firearm.

According to police, the man entered a Keat Court residence on Friday and threatened the two women and a man inside, who are understood to be known to him.

He left and was later arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and firearms offences.

The occupants were not injured.

Witness wanted

Moe police have appealed for witnesses of an incident that occurred early Sunday morning on the corner of Monash Road and Narracan Drive, Newborough.

Police have asked for a man who may have been confronted by two other men in that vicinity about midnight to come forward and phone Moe police on 5128 1100.

Kayak stolen

A kayak was stolen from a house in Mabel Street, Traralgon between 30 and 31 August.

It is described as the ‘Emotion- Spitfire Eight’ model, 2.2 metres long, with a red body and black seats.
