The family of a former Latrobe Valley man now missing from Western Australia is pleading with the community to help find him.
Thirty-seven year-old Malcolm Andrew McLellan has been living and working in Kalgoorlie for the past two years as a dump truck driver at a mine.
He was last seen at the Balladonia Roadhouse on the Eyre Highway at 4pm on Tuesday, 24 September, following a visit to Morwell to see his five year-old son.
Mr McLellan was driving a grey Hyuandai i30 with the registration KBC 19090.
He is described as 167 centimetres tall, with a fair complexion, medium build, red, short cropped hair and a goatee beard and was last seen wearing an orange hooded jacket, blue jeans and blue and white runners.
Former partner Anne Maree Wierzbinski asked anybody in the local community with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
“No matter how small it is or how insignificant it might seem, please just let someone know,” Ms Wierzbinski said.
“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that’s helping in the search for Malcolm.”
Mother Anne Cameron said the situation had baffled the family and authorities, who were now seeking to gain access to Malcolm’s financial records.
“He’s done that drive four times, he knows it like the back of his hand,” Ms Cameron said.
“We love you Malcolm. We just want you to come home.”
Anyone with information should phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
