Woman assaulted in Traralgon

A fight between dogs at Newman Park escalated into two unknown men assaulting a woman on Sunday afternoon.

Traralgon police believe the assault about 1.15pm followed an argument between the woman and one of the men over a fight between dogs in the park.

It is alleged the male left the scene to return with another male in a blue Holden sedan and assault the woman near the intersection at Whitakers Road and Princes Highway.

The male involved is described as 175 centimetres tall, pasty complexion with tattoos. At the time he was wearing a blue singlet and shorts.

The driver of the blue Holden sedan is described as male, dark complexion, 40 to 50 years old and at the time was wearing dark clothing.

Bike stolen

Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle from Ted Summerton Reserve in Moe, between 18 and 24 December.

The bike was left in the foyer area of the reserve club rooms and was no longer there when its owner went to collect it five days later. The area is generally locked and only accessed with a security swipe pass.

It is a black mountain bike with 18 gears, a white Shimano sticker, a Toy Kingdom sticker, and red and white decals.

The bike has alloy wheels, and a broken bell attached to the front.

Window broken

Moe police are investigating a criminal damage incident at 60 King Street, Moe between 21 December and 2 January.

According to police, unknown offenders have broken a window at the address. The incident is possibly related to people throwing objects at vehicles on or around 1 January, in the same area.
