TRARALGON police are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision at Hazelwood North on Tuesday morning.
A school bus and car collided at the Jeeralang North and Church roads intersection.
Both drivers were taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition.
It was the second such incident to occur in the Latrobe Valley this week following a collision between a truck and car in Traralgon on Monday.
Alleged attempted abduction
PARENTS are urged to be aware of their children’s whereabouts following an alleged attempted abduction in Traralgon on Monday.
Between 6pm and 7pm a young boy delivering pamphlets was allegedly approached by an unknown man wearing dark clothes.
Police allege the man tried to coerce the boy towards his direction before the boy ran home.
The incident is under investigation.
Thieves steal money from Rosedale cafe
POLICE are investigating a break-in at a Rosedale caf in the early hours of Monday morning.
According to Cafe 3847 & Co owner Cathy Theodore, two men entered the premises at 3.13am, taking money from the till and tips jar, damaging property in the process.
Ms Theodore said $1000 worth of theft and damage occurred and police had been notified.
“We are currently in the initial stages of our investigation,” Sale police Detective Senior Constable Mark Jolly said.
