More than 500 young people and their families are expected to attend the In Your Own Way Youth Fair this Wednesday at Kernot Hall, Morwell.
The interactive fair, funded as part of the State Government’s Engage! youth program, will feature young performers, youth art exhibition ‘Social in the Valley’ and a display of designs made with reused and recycled objects called ‘Sustainable Creations’.
Workshops will include wheelchair races, guitar and bongo lessons, arts and crafts, gardening, relaxation and Rock and Water physical training.
Participating organisations at the workshop are Quantum Support Services, Latrobe Community Health Service, Interchange Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Gallery, Netball Victoria, Churchill Scouts and Embrodieia.
In Your Own Way will run from 10am to 2pm.
