Transport frustration

STATE Member for Morwell Russell Northe experienced first hand the frustration of Gippsland V/Line commuters on Monday after catching a peak hour road coach to Melbourne.

Departing Morwell at 7.29am and returning home about 2pm, Mr Northe said while the trip itself was “okay” there was a lot of confusion.

He said passengers were uncertain where the two buses would stop, while a lack of communication surrounding destination arrival times added unnecessary strain.

Regular commuters said they would like the rail service reinstated as soon as possible.
