Traralgon Police are investigating a fire which occurred at the Traralgon Railway Reserve, Hyde Park Road, Traralgon on Wednesday, 18 January.
Police have been told the Country Fire Authority attended to a grass fire which burnt an area of about 80 metres by 50m and may have been caused by a small campfire which had been left unattended.

Attempted armed robbery
Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released CCTV footage following an attempted armed robbery in Morwell recently.
Investigators were told an unknown man, armed with a sharp object, entered the Vary Street milk bar about 7.50pm on Tuesday, 10 January.
Once inside, the man allegedly walked behind the counter and demanded cash.
Police said the staff member did not hand over any cash and then chased the offender out of the store.
He was last seen running along Bolger Street.
The man is described as being Caucasian, tall, with a slim build and spoke with an Australian accent.
He was wearing a camouflage-style hat, a red bandana covering his face, olive long sleeve shirt, denim jeans and black sneakers.

Morwell police are investigating a burglary which occurred at a Langford Street, Morwell address between Wednesday, 18 January and Saturday, 21 January.
Police were told the unknown offenders entered a shed on the property and stole a Bates brand saddle, CIG welder and accessories, trolley, a bundle of wire, a gas bottle, Ryobi drill, Makita grinder, two fishing reels and a Karcher pressure washer.

Traralgon Police are investigating the theft of two outdoor Fiora chairs and a hanging egg chair.
The garden furniture was stolen from a Castlereagh Court, Traralgon residence between 8.30pm on Friday, 6 January and 6pm on Saturday, 7 January.
