Latrobe City Council has endorsed the release of the draft Recreation Needs Assessment for community consultation for a period of six weeks.
The draft assessment will be available until Friday, 28 July and community members are encouraged to take part.
Councillor Dan Clancey said there were a lot of questions about how sporting facilities and ovals in the Latrobe Valley were used and this body of work could provide council with those details.
The Recreation Needs Assessment will assess the sporting and recreational needs of the community and the need for previously-proposed projects or projects that are being discussed in the community.
To have your say, visit www.latrobe.vic.gov.au/recneeds to read the documents and upload your feedback.
Alternatively, you can attend an information session and talk to the Recreation and Open Space team.
The next sessions will be held at council’s headquarters in Morwell on Thursday, 6 July at 6pm, the Moe Service Centre on Wednesday, 12 July at 5pm and the Churchill Hub on Thursday, 13 July at 5pm.
