Moderate flooding is expected along the Latrobe River Yallourn to Traralgon Creek.
The Latrobe River at Thoms Bridge is currently at 2.93 metres and rising.
The Latrobe River at Thoms Bridge will exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) Thursday night.
The river level is expected to exceed the moderate flood level (5.00 m) early Friday morning.
Latrobe River downstream of Traralgon:
Minor flooding is expected along the Latrobe River downstream of Traralgon.
The Latrobe River at Rosedale (Main Stream) is currently at 3.05 metres and rising.
The Latrobe River at Rosedale (Main Stream) is expected to exceed the minor flood level (4.00 m) Friday morning.
The river level is likely to peak near 4.30 metres Friday afternoon and is expected to remain above the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Friday.
The initial minor flood warning remains for Traralgon Creek.
In the 24 hours to 9am Thursday, rainfall totals of 40 to 60 mm have been recorded in the Traralgon Creek catchment.
Since 9am, rainfall totals of up to 50 mm have been recorded.
A further 10 mm has been forecast for the remainder of Thursday.
Minor flooding may occur along the Traralgon Creek.
The Traralgon Creek at Traralgon is currently at 2.42 metres and rising.
The Traralgon Creek at Traralgon may reach the minor flood level (3.50 m) Thursday evening.
The initial flood warning for the Thomson River remains in place.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Thomson River about Cowwarr Weir and may develop about Wandocka from Friday morning.
Since 9 am Wednesday round 115 mm of rainfall has been recorded at Cowwarr Weir. Rainfall totals of 5 to 15 mm are forecast for the remainder of Thursday.

Minor flooding is expected along the Thomson River to Cowwarr Weir.
The Thomson River at Cooper Ck is currently at 0.72 metres and rising. The Thomson River at Cooper Ck is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.30 m) during Thursday.
The Thomson River U/S Cowwarr Weir is currently at 3.74 metres and rising, with minor flooding. The Thomson River U/S Cowwarr Weir is expected to remain above the minor flood level (3.70 m) for the remainder of Thursday.
Thomson River Cowwarr Weir to Wandocka:
Minor flooding may occur along the Thomson River Cowwarr Weir to Wandocka.
The Thomson River at Wandocka is currently at 2.53 metres and rising. The Thomson River at Wandocka may reach the minor flood level (6.20 m) Friday morning.
A total of 36mm of rain has fallen in the Latrobe Valley today.
In addition to the minor flood warnings, Latrobe City Council has advised of temporary road closures and water over road signs in place.
