LATROBE City recorded seven new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours up to midnight.

That tally lifts the total active cases in the municipality to 46.

“The regional picture looks reasonably stable, we’re continuing to work through the clusters,” COVID-19 commander Jeroen Weimar said.

Regional Victoria recorded 52 new cases, lifting the total of active cases to 425.

Nine cases are in Mitchell Shire, eight in Greater Shepparton, five in Geelong, four in Ararat and four in Ballarat.

Victoria recorded 1220 fresh cases in the 24 hours up to midnight, with Mr Weimar saying 54 per cent were under the age of 30.

Gippsland Region Public Health Unit said three sites in Latrobe City are open today if you need a COVID-19 test.

They are as follows:

• Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium drive through, Ashby St, Traralgon. Until 3.30pm today. No appointments required.
• LCHS – Senior Citizens Centre, Moe – Walk-up, no appointments necessary. Until 2pm today.
• Morwell East Football Netball Ground drive through. No appointments required. Until 3.30pm today.

Two new Tier 1 exposure sites have been added to the list.

Gippsland Region Public Health Unit said if you have visited a Tier 1 exposure site to quarantine and get a COVID test.
