New Tier 1 exposure site in Latrobe City

GIPPSLAND Region Public Health Unit (GRPHU) has reported a new Tier 1 exposure site in Latrobe City.

The site is as follows:

Wyncity, Morwell

Monday, November 1, 11am-2pm

GRPHU reports they are managing 421 active COVID-19 cases in Latrobe City, with 19 new cases reported in the 24 hours up to midnight.

Testing opportunities in Latrobe City include;
Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park in Morwell (Falcons Soccer Club). Walk-in clinic,
9.30am – 4pm weekdays and 9.30am – 3.30pm Saturdays. Parking is available on site. Pre-fill  your details using the Testing Registration form.
Latrobe Regional Hospital, Dorevitch Pathology, drive through, Traralgon. 8.30am – 4.30pm,  by appointment on 03 5165 0800.
Latrobe Valley Respiratory Clinic, Morwell. Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. By appointment,
for bookings go to:
Moe Senior Citizens Centre, Latrobe Community Health Service, walk-in clinic. 9am – 11am
Thursday, Friday and Sunday this week. No appointments required. Pre-fill your details using the Testing Registration form

In all, there are currently 666 active COVID-19 cases throughout Gippsland.

Baw Baw has 158, East Gippsland 48, Wellington 23, South Gippsland nine and Bass Coast seven.

There are four people in hospital with COVID-19, three of whom are in intensive care.
