The Gippsland line is experiencing another major delay, as services have been halted for the past hour due to a freight train fault at Caulfield.
V/line anticipates this will affect the entire line until at least 1:30pm this afternoon.
Passengers are being provided with replacement coach services in order to complete their current journeys.
The following services have been altered as a result, as delays create timetable conflicts within the wider network:
To Southern Cross:
The 08:33 Traralgon – Southern Cross service will end early at Hughesdale.
The 09:13 Traralgon – Southern Cross service is delayed 73 minutes.
The 09:53 Traralgon – Southern Cross service will end early at Dandenong.
From Southern Cross:
The 10:23 Southern Cross – Traralgon service is delayed 37 minutes.
The 11:02 Southern Cross – Traralgon service is delayed 57 minutes.
The 12:21 Southern Cross – Traralgon service will not run today.
The Express will provide updates accordingly.
