Rams still have a long way to tread

IN the match of the round, Toongabbie is shaky at 2/34 and needs a further 168 to win against Glengarry and keep its Traralgon and District Cricket Association finals hopes alive.

Nathan Rosser holds the key in the round 12 match and if he gets going Toongabbie will win.

Glengarry can secure a spot in the finals with a win.

Churchill v Raiders

CHASING 331 to win, Churchill will need a John Keighran special to win against the odds.

With Brad Knowles bowling well, the Cobras look likely to fall well short of the huge total.

Rovers v Centrals

CENTRALS resume on 2/159, 37 runs ahead of Rovers with Dean Rode staring at a century when he resumes on 87*.

Centrals is in the box seat to secure an outright if it can get 100 runs in front and give itself 60 overs to bowl as Rovers second innings efforts have been poor of late.

Imperials v Ex Students

RESUMING at 4/25 chasing 269, Imperials will struggle big time unless Danny Hegarty can produce a century to keep his side in the hunt.

Ex Students’ bowling is strong and a big win is the likely scenario.

CATS v Traralgon West

CATS is desperately searching for an outright win in this game and Traralgon West needs to bat out the day to stop it from happening.

Jon Bell will need to occupy the crease for a long time in the second innings to hold his team together.
