AUSTRALIAN basketball representative and Traralgon resident Jack White has been named Junior bankmecu Gippstar recipient for the month of November.
Jack recently represented Australia for the first time against New Zealand in August at the State Basketball Centre in Melbourne.
Australia won the three match series and progressed to the August 2014 World Championships in Dubai.
Jack also represented Victorian Country at the Australian Junior Nationals and the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup as a bottom age player, and attended a Nike/NBA Development Camp in China with current Untied States National Basketball Association players and coaches.
He was also exposed to United States and Canadian college recruiters as part of a showcase with the Andrew Bogut Basketball Academy.
Jack is now focused on training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport ahead of selections for the World Championships.
Steve Gray was named senior winner after being again picked as captain of the Australian Eight Ball masters team.
The team finished third at the 2013 world titles in Blackpool, England.
Gray also won the Victorian Masters in August.
