DROUIN continues to lurk just behind Gippsland League A grade netball leaders Morwell and Traralgon following its fourth win of the season at the weekend.
The Hawks scored a five-goal win at Moe to retain third spot on the competition ladder with just one loss to date.
They’re still chasing undefeated Morwell and Traralgon, who scored comprehensive wins over Maffra and Bairnsdale to remain top of the table.
The Tigers are ahead of the reigning premier Maroons on percentage thanks in chief to a stingy defence which has conceded just 142 goals in five rounds – the best record in the league.
