TRARALGON HARRIERS

Last week, the Harriers Thursday night run was a 5km run at Traralgon Vineyard.
We had a great turnout with a total of 60 participants of all abilities.
The race was run largely on the Gippsland Rail Trail with conditions a little windy but quite pleasant.
First home with a great time of 19.23 was Ian Cornthwaite followed very closely by Miles Verschuur (19.34) and Anthony Magaldi (20.07).
Yani Cornthwaite was the first lady home with 22.31 followed by Liz Kenney (24.10), Karen Graham (24.35) and Zoe Kirkman (25.12).

Tomorrow’s run will be the challenging Clarkes Road course.
Entries are now open for the 2022 DFP Recruitment Community Fun Run and Walk on Sunday, March 27 via the Harriers website.
There is a 1.5km kids race (12 years and under) as well as the main 5km run.
Everyone is welcome to come along with walkers encouraged.
This is the 24th year of the event which will be held at Morwell’s Kernot Hall Lake with the run along the Waterhole Creek walking track.
