HEYFIELD met Rosedale FNC in the North Gippsland Football-Netball League 2022 Thirds Grand Final.
In a particularly see-sawing game, the Blues managed to hold on to the lead in the final quarter, and as the final siren sounded, Rosedale became NGFNL’s 2022 premiers, defeating the Kangaroos, 7.8 (50) to 6.6 (42).
Former Collingwood player and Heyfield’s new senior football coach, Leigh Brown, presented Rosedale players with their premiership medals.
Rosedale’s Mitchell Caruana was voted best on ground, with Harper Fox, Jay Diamond, Connor MacLeod, James Nikolajew, Charles Anderson and James Edney also putting forward a noteworthy performance for the Blues.
