THE lure of a potential top five spot will see Trafalgar enter its Mid Gippsland round 14 match against Yinnar full of fire on Saturday.
The Bloods (24) are only two points out and are putting the pressure on Thorpdale (26) while Morwell East (20) is in turn chasing Trafalgar.
Both teams have been crippled by injuries and with finals only weeks away match fitness will be crucial before a post season campaign.
Yinnar is certain to be there while Trafalgar remains a wildcard after a mixed first half.
The Magpies put in a good game against Hill End last week while Trafalgar got over Morwell East by 10 points in a scruffy match.
Having won the past four against Trafalgar, Yinnar should make it five in a row.

YARRAGON will be aiming to join Morwell East on 20 competition points when the two battlers face off on Saturday.
The East are sitting in seventh, only six points from fifth, while Yarragon is eighth on 16 points.
The Panthers have two big scalps in their 2015 collection with Trafalgar and Thorpdale, added to their belt at the weekend.
Morwell East has the potential to be a top five side but like so many teams, injuries have decimated the lineup.
Should Trafalgar and Thorpdale fail this weekend a win could put the Hawks within two points of the five.

BATTLE hardened Yallourn-Yallourn North will be out to bust Boolarra and preserve top spot after a hard earned one pointer over Mirboo North.
Heading the table by eight points the Bombers cannot afford to rest on their reputation as Boolarra has historically proved a hurdle.
However the Demons are not playing like themselves and currently have just four wins and languish in ninth. It is understood Boolarra will be looking for a new coach next season as Tony Giardina will be stepping down after seven years at the helm.

NEWBOROUGH appears the favourite to lift the Byrne/Fanning trophy unless Hill End can produce a monumental upset.
The Dogs will be out to prove a point after the Hillmen came within four points last time.
Newborough appears safe in fourth but would prefer to be a couple of rungs higher putting pressure on Mirboo North and Yinnar.
The three time runners-up are keen to make it to the premiership match break through for a flag after years of heartache. Hill End should not pose many problems to Newborough, which will be hell bent on improving percentage leading up to the finals.

THE Victoria Country match of the round will feature fifth placed Thorpdale up against third placed Mirboo North in their 101st clash.
Earlier in the season they drew 58 points each when bringing up the ton.
The pressure will be right on the Blues, who unexpectedly lost their past two matches, putting fifth place in jeopardy. Mirboo North have fans in a state of nail chewing with two one-point results in two weeks – one a win and the other a loss.
