Latrobe Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following the discovery of a body at a property in Morwell on Tuesday night.
Police were called to an address in Alamein Street around 9pm and located a 64-year-old man deceased.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are being investigated with the assistance of Homicide Squad detectives.
Police are currently treating the death as suspicious, however will await the outcome of a post mortem examination.
