THE two outstanding teams of 2016, Woodside and Rosedale, remain undefeated at the end of round eight in the North Gippsland Football Netball League A grade netball competition.
The teams have set the stage for a heated duel when they battle it out next week in what promises to be a fiery clash.
Woodside defeated Heyfield in convincing style, running out 18-goal winners, 50 to 32, while over at Magpie-land, Rosedale defeated Glengarry in similar style, 50 goals to 33.
Churchill remains in fourth place on the ladder after being pipped at the post in a nail-biting finish.
The Saints held on in a stunner to defeat the Cougars by a whisker, 43 goals to 42.
Yarram had an upset 11-goal victory over Sale City to keep in touch with the top five, 44-33.
Meanwhile out at Tyers, Gormandale had a morale-boosting win over the TTU Bombers.
The Tigers took home the premiership points 46 goals to 33.
