A JUDGE has described the actions of a man who shot his girlfriend multiple times with a nail gun, before throwing a television over her head and trying to choke her at their Morwell home on Christmas Day 2010 as “vicious and cowardly”.
Justin Michael Hare, 40, was sentenced yesterday to eight years’ jail for what Supreme Court Justice Lex Lasry said was also an unprovoked and sustained attack on Catherine Wilkinson during a drinking binge.
