Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary after a car was stolen from a Traralgon property on Thursday morning.
Police said the Old Melbourne Road house was broken into on Thursday at 3.30am.
A set of car keys were stolen from inside the house before the occupant watched their vehicle being driven out of the property.
No one was injured during the incident but police have appealed for information.
The stolen car, a white Holden Statesman, was later recovered.

Morwell collision investigated
An elderly man escaped without serious injury after his car collided with a log truck on Alexander’s Road in Morwell on Friday morning.
Police allege the car clipped an oncoming truck, causing extensive damage to the car just before 9am.
Investigators said the man in his 70s driving the silver SUV was trapped for about 20 minutes.
He sustained minor head injuries and was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition.
The truck driver was not injured, however, the truck was also damaged and had to be towed.
The road was closed for several hours while the truck’s logs unloaded.

Man charged over Newborough assault
A man has been charged following a brawl involving up to 12 people in Newborough last week.
The 32-year-old Moe man faces a number of charges including affray, criminal damage and assault.
Police allege the man was involved during an incident where five people were seriously injured at a Murray Road property on November 30.
Detectives have also interviewed four other men in relation to the incident who are expected to be charged.
Man caught speeding
Latrobe Highway Patrol clocked a man riding a motorcycle at more than 50km/h above the speed limit at Churchill on Friday.
The 76-year-old Churchill man was caught allegedly riding at 156km/h in a 100km/h zone about 1pm last week.
The man will have his licence suspended for 12 months and will be required to pay an $806 fine.
