Fire at Traralgon Macca’s

THE playground at Traralgon McDonald’s on Argyle St went up in flames in the early hours of Thursday, March 17.

Police attended the scene at approximately 7am on Thursday morning.

Investigators from Latrobe CIU are investigating the cause of the fire, which caused
significant damage to the fast-food restaurant’s playground facilities.

Two youths are assisting police with enquiries. Anyone with information about the incident

Motorcyclist injured during Traralgon collision

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) with non-life
threatening injuries on the morning of Saturday, March 19 after a collision on the corner of Princes Highway and Church Street in Traralgon.

The motorbike was travelling east on the Princes Highway, when a vehicle travelling south on Church Street allegedly failed to give way and a collision occurred.

Emergency services attended the scene at about 9am and Ambulance Victoria transported
the injured motorcyclist to LRH.

Police allegedly located drugs inside the 41-year-old Traralgon man’s vehicle and on his
person.

The man is assisting police with enquiries.

 

Churchill warrant finds semi-automatic rifle

A 51-year-old Churchill man was taken into custody after police allegedly located a semiautomatic rifle and drugs inside a Churchill property.

The warrant was executed at the property on Friday March 18.

Other findings inside the address allegedly included quantities of steroids and cannabis
plants.

The man is assisting police with enquiries.
