Moe bank robber pleads guilty

Jason Paul Tansley, 39, pleaded guilty to robbing the bank of $8900 while carrying a silver-coloured pistol; possessing a firearm; and possessing drug of dependence, amphetamine.

Tansley also pleaded guilty to stealing the purse, cards, $50 cash and a set of keys of a woman in the bank; along with possessing a drug of dependence Tramadol and Pregabalin the following day.

He pleaded guilty to dishonestly receiving a stolen Samsung mobile phone between 2 May 2013 and the day of the robbery.

A further 19 charges against Tansley were withdrawn.He made no application for bail and is expected to re-appear in the Latrobe Valley County Court on 24 March.
