A FESTIVE feast is being thrown for more than 100 carers and families as part of the annual Gippsland Carers Association Christmas celebrations this weekend.
Businesses and community groups have rallied to support the event which aims to provide a networking environment for carers and their families.
Giveaways including a colour television and door prizes will be given to those who attend, as well as miniature train ride rides to entertain people.
GCA project manager and Latrobe City councillor Dale Harriman said was an opportunity for carers to wind down and enjoy an afternoon meal with friends.
“There are a heap of people and organisations who have jump on board to make it a good day,” Cr Harriman said.
“All carers are welcome to attend, they don’t need to be members of the GCA.
