THE Latrobe Valley was again shaken by an earthquake on Sunday night, although significantly fewer people reported feeling the tremor compared to last month’s incident.
According to Geoscience Australia’s website, the 2.9 magnitude quake was reported near Moe on Sunday night at 8.27pm.
A State Emergency Service spokesperson said the SES did not receive any requests for assistance.
“Estimated damage and felt radius cannot be calculated for this earthquake because the magnitude (was) less than 3.0,” the SES said on its Facebook page.
