CENTRAL Gippsland Institute of TAFE has moved to reassure its students a potential alliance between University of Ballarat and Monash University Gippsland would not affect their studies.
In a statement, GippsTAFE chief executive Peter Whitley said the partnership between the two universities had “no bearing on the existing partnership between GippsTAFE and the University of Ballarat”.
“Students enrolled or enrolling in the GippsTAFE and University of Ballarat partnership programs can be assured that their studies will not be affected,” Dr Whitley said.
“These courses will continue to be delivered by GippsTAFE at their present location and students of these programs will continue to graduate, upon completion, with a degree from the University of Ballarat.”
Dr Whitley said course fees would not be impacted by the proposed alliance, and there would be “no change to how our partnership programs are delivered.”
