Police and WorkSafe are investigating the electrocution of a 25 year-old tradesman working at a private residence in Yallourn North yesterday.
Paramedics were called to the incident, which occurred shortly after 4pm on Boundary Road, however they were unable to revive the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood the fully qualified electrician was working in the kitchen as part of a renovation when he was electrocuted.
WorkSafe inspectors, who were on the scene yesterday evening, are continuing their investigations, while police will prepare a report for the coroner.
