A 52 year-old Traralgon woman has died after the car she was driving and a truck collided along Maryvale Road between Traralgon and Morwell.
According to police, just before 9am the woman was driving her white Holden sedan along the Traralgon West Road and pulled out onto Maryvale Road into the path of a fully loaded truck and trailer.
The truck was unable to avoid the car, colliding with the driver’s side.
The woman died at the scene.
The road remained closed for most of the day.
