Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash on Tuesday morning which killed a 52 year-old Traralgon woman.
The car she was driving and a truck collided along Maryvale Road between Traralgon and Morwell just before 9am.
Leading Senior Constable Shane James said the woman was driving her white Holden sedan along the Traralgon West Road and pulled out onto Maryvale Road into the path of the fully loaded truck and trailer.
“The truck was unable to avoid the car, colliding with the driver’s side,” Ldg Snr Const James said.
The woman died at the scene and the truck driver was shaken, but uninjured.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
