Fire restrictions will begin in Latrobe City and Baw Baw Shire from today.
The is in addition to the announcement of fire restrictions in East Gippsland and Wellington Shire, also beginning today.
From 1am on Monday restrictions will be in place for public land and land within the Fire Protected Area (which is private land within 1.5 kilometres of public land) in the Baw Baw and Latrobe City Council areas.
Unless otherwise advised, fire restrictions will be in force until 1 May.
