Police have arrested and charged a 22 year-old Traralgon man over an alleged assault, after a 27 year-old Hazelwood North man was left with swelling in the brain.
The alleged offender faces charges of intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault.
The incident allegedly occurred in Watkins Court, Traralgon on 17 January.
He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on 17 April.
