Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal vehicle collision in Traralgon on Friday.
Investigators believe a car turning from Howitt Street into Liddiard Road and a car travelling north on Liddiard Road collided about 5.30pm.
The driver and only occupant of the turning vehicle, a 79 year-old Traralgon woman, was taken to hospital where she later died.
The two men travelling in the other vehicle, also from Traralgon, were not injured and are assisting police with their enquiries.
