Just minutes before she was due to attend Monday’s Latrobe City Council meeting, Cr Sindt said she was delayed by a loiterer at her front door.
“I walked downstairs and saw a figure outside the door with a red top and I called out ‘who’s that?’,” Cr Sindt said.
“They didn’t knock, they were just standing there. I yelled ‘go away, go away’.”
Cr Sindt said she then walked straight from her front door to her car and drove to council chambers.
She said remarks were made by the person and she has reported the incident to police.
