A man has died in hospital at the weekend following an assault in Tyers around 11pm on Friday, 3 April.
The 41 year-old Traralgon man was initially taken to The Alfred hospital with life threatening injuries after the assault at a Tyers-Walhalla Road address.
An 18 year-old Traralgon man was initially charged with intentionally cause serious injury but will now be re-interviewed by police.
