Cyclist struck near Loy Yang

A CYCLIST has received multiple injuries after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Loy Yang.

The woman was riding her bike along Flynns Creek Road near Loy Yang when she was struck about 9.30am on Tuesday.

Traralgon police said the woman was knocked out and received multiple injuries.

Men charged with petrol drive-offs

TWO Moe men are facing about 70 charges after an investigation into petrol drive-offs.

Latrobe Valley police said the 20 and 21 year-old men were estimated to have allegedly stolen petrol from about 12 service stations between Drouin and the Latrobe Valley.

The pair is also charged with possessing a meat cleaver, evading police, speeding, stealing from cars and possessing the drug ice.

They will face Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court at a later day.
