Still paying top dollar

Fuel prices in Traralgon have remained the highest in the state for the third consecutive week.

Data from the RACV shows for the seven-day period ending Tuesday, Traralgon drivers were slugged an average of 119.8 cents per litre at the pump.

This was 19 cents per litre more than Bairnsdale motorists, who recorded the cheapest price across regional Victoria at 100.8 cents per litre.

Across the Latrobe Valley prices remained fairly stagnant.

Morwell prices recorded no change on the previous week with an average 115.6 cents per litre.

Moe drivers also saw little change, paying on average 118.0 cents per litre, down just 0.4 cents per litre from last week.

Traralgon prices were down 0.7 cents per litre from the previous week.
