Wishes to be granted

The Gippsland Branch of Make-A-Wish recently conducted its seventh annual bowls night at Traralgon Bowls Club which raised more than $2500.

Money raised will go towards granting wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength and joy.

Many local businesses and volunteers supported the event.

Branch president Catherine Murphy said the night was once again a great success and Make-A-Wish was very appreciative to the bowls club for its continued support by providing the venue and assisting with catering.

The bowling event was won by ‘The Dancers’, who were presented with the Wayne Moore and Associates Perpetual Trophy.

The Gippsland branch has granted some 80 wishes to children within the Gippsland area.
