Women to talk work rights

State Minister for Women Fiona Richardson will meet Gippsland’s female workforce at a community forum on Wednesday.

The Women’s Rights at Work Chat will engage women in a conservation about experiences in work, life and family.

Participants will be able to talk to Ms Richardson about their challenges in the workforce at Traralgon’s The VRI Hall on Wednesday.

An event spokesperson said the purpose of WRAW Chat was to guide working women in developing an agenda for change at work, and inform campaigns and policy to action on the issues that matter most.

The information will then be collaborated into the We Are Union Women Platform for Action, developing an agenda for workplace change.

The event will be held at 3pm. To book, visit www.unionwomen.org.au/traralgon_wraw_chat
